Born in 2002 in Burdwan, India, Anish completed his secondary and high school education in 2018 and 2020, respectively, before starting his BS-MS program at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata (IISER) Kolkata. He is majoring in Chemical Sciences with a minor in Physical Sciences. His master thesis, supervised by Rob, focuses on developing molecular representations. Anish has undertaken several internships, including a MITACS fellowship at the University of British Columbia, Canada, working on atom-centered potentials, and a project on quantum hardware at IIT Bombay. He also explores machine learning applications in chemistry, serves as a teaching assistant, and participates actively in sports.
