Davi was born in 2000 in São Carlos, Brazil. He earned his BSc in Chemistry from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) in 2023, presenting his thesis titled "Linking Graph Theory and Molecular Dynamics". That same year, he moved to Trieste, Italy, to pursue an MSc in Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling (TCCM) as an Erasmus Mundus Scholar. In March 2025, he joined Rob's group to work on his thesis, focusing on inverse design of organocatalysts.
