(she/her/hers)
B.Sc., University of the Punjab, Lahore, 2022
Fareeda was born in 1997 in Hafizabad, Pakistan. In 2022, she completed her undergraduate thesis titled “A DFT Study on the Impact of Saturated and Conjugated Side Chains on the Optoelectronic properties of Y-series Nonfullerene Acceptors” and received a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of the Punjab, Lahore. In 2023, she started her master’s degree in Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling (TCCM) at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. In the summer of 2024, she conducted simulations to investigate the mechanism of organocatalyzed reactions supervised by Rob as an intern. Subsequently, she joined the University of Paul Sabatier, Toulouse, France, for an intensive course. In February 2025, she returned to Rob's group for a master’s thesis on computational exploration of asymmetric catalysts aided by machine learning.
