Pieter Jacobs

Pieter was born in 2000 in Utrecht, the Netherlands. In 2016, he commenced his studies in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Groningen, and, in 2021, he successfully obtained his BSc. He proceeded to pursue his MSc in Artificial Intelligence at the same university. Throughout his academic journey, he engaged in various AI-related projects, such as utilizing computer vision to detect aspergillus in the lungs and conducting research on different active learning techniques to streamline labeling efforts. In December 2023, he joined the Pollice Research Group to work on language models for chemistry.
