Sebastian Jitaru was born in 2002 in Brașov, Romania. He moved to Catalonia, Spain, where he obtained his B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Lleida in 2024, completing his undergraduate thesis titled "Development and Deployment of a Cloud-Based Framework for Emotion Recognition in Remote Usability Testing". In 2023, he joined SEMIC as a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst, contributing to the design and deployment of machine learning based intrusion detection and anomaly analysis systems. In August 2024, he moved to the Netherlands, where he joined Prioticket as a Junior AI Engineer and started pursuing an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Groningen. In November 2025, he joined the Pollice Research Group to work on his thesis, focusing on molecular property prediction models.
